On Monday July 3, 2007, President Bush commuted the portion of Scooter Libby’s sentence that would require Libby to serve thirty months in prison.  Because he was not pardoned, Libby remains a convicted felon, must pay a 250 thousand dollar fine, and be on probation for 2 years.
